University of Georgia - Muses Garden

The Muses Garden is a space in the heart of the University of Georgia campus. Students travel between the North portion of the campus and the south quad via a pedestrian walkway that runs adjacent to the Muses Garden Space. The design concept behind the development of the Muse Garden is to create a whimsical series of seat walls that nestle amongst a grove of flowering trees for passive recreation, studying, resting, and talking with friends on one side of the walkway, and a tilted plan of lawn on the other for sun bathing, and simply sitting to people watch. The Muses Garden is a beautiful park offering a beautiful respite from the hectic daily lifestyle of a college student.
