Auyare New Town Plan

Auyare New Town Plan is a new town designed in response to tremendous growth in population and development occurring in Caracas, Venezuela. This Greenfield site sits within a valley between two mountain ranges. Through collaborative working sessions with City officials and the developer, the plan creates a sustainable town with series of neighborhoods surrounding a new mixed use town center providing jobs, commerce, entertainment, cultural, and needs of everyday life.

With an expected population of 30,000 people, the natural environment plays an important role in defining the quality of this new place. A series of open space connections and compact development allow nature to dominate while minimizing the impact of this new town of the existing landscape defining a new pattern of suburban development in Venezuela.
